Responsibilities

Peraton requires AV/VTC Facilitators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.

 

This position is located at Camp Lejeune, NC.  

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and  common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install, configure, manage, maintain, operate, and defend common area VTC equipment, including day-to-day setup, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and administer multiple simultaneous VTC sessions.
  • Provide dedicated support to VTCs attended by Very Important Persons (VIPs).
  • Recommend upgrades to VTC systems.
  • Provide version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs.
  • Install flat panel displays, room based VTC endpoints, projectors, and A/V equipment.
  • Resolve issues down to the equipment level (black box).
  • Manage, maintain, and post a daily MSL and shift change procedures.
  • Schedule, configure, and connect users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences.
  • Train designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment.
  • Some positions may require a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 4 years with AS/AA; Minimum of 0 years with MS/MA, or High School Diploma and 6 years of experience
  • DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) required

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
