Peraton is seeking a passionate .NET Software Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse high-performing team individuals supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Location: Hybrid role– On-site in Colorado Springs, CO.

• Must be able to work on-site 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday).
• Candidate must have the ability to report up to 5 days per week as needed.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

• Promote Agile best practices by self-organizing, self-managing, and coaching teams on effective delivery methods.
• Support and enhance a high-availability, enterprise-scale .NET application.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis, reconciliation, and consolidation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and optimize queries, generate reports, and design user interfaces to improve system usability.
• Expand capabilities through mobile application development to meet evolving customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience or Associate’s degree and 7+ years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9+ years’ experience.  
• Must have an Active Secret clearance to be considered.
• Technical experience to include:
  • Data analysis and reconciliation, multi-source integration and duplication.
  • Analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting.
  • User interface design and development.
  • Proficient in .NET Core, C#, SQL Server and ASP.NET (4.0+).
  • Visual Studio 2019+, GitLab source control, and both client/server-side development.
  • Enterprise software architecture components and patterns.
  • Entity Framework.
  • Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Proven experience supporting complex technical projects — particularly within national security environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Web API a plus
• Prior experience supporting large-scale Federal IT programs.
• Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework for large enterprise delivery.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
