Peraton is seeking a .NET Software Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse high-performing team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The qualified applicant will contribute to developing the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. Location: Hybrid role– On-site in Colorado Springs, CO.

  • Must be able to work on-site 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday).
  • Candidate must have the ability to report up to 5 days per week as needed.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

  • Promote Agile best practices by self-organizing, self-managing, and coaching teams on effective delivery methods.
  • Enhance and maintain a large-scale .NET application, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis, reconciliation, and consolidation to uphold the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Develop and optimize queries, generate reports, and design user interfaces to improve system usability.
  • Contribute to the development of mobile applications to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Work within a modern CI/CD environment, ensuring streamlined development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience or Associate’s degree and 10+ years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 12+ years’ experience.  
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance to be considered.
  • Technical proficiency in:
    • Data analysis and reconciliation
    • Multi-source data integration and duplication
    • Analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting
    • User interface design and development
  • Hand-on working Knowledge of:
    • Object oriented analysis and design (OOAD).
    • ASP.NET enterprise software architecture and design patterns.
    • .NET framework 4.0 or greater and Entity Framework
    • C#, .NET Core and SQL Server
    • Visual Studio 2019+, GitLab source control, and both client/server-side development
  • Proven experience supporting complex, mission-critical technical projects — particularly those in national security environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Web API a plus
  • Prior experience supporting large-scale Federal IT programs.
  • Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework for large enterprise delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
