Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an Irregular Warfare Targeting Team Site Lead in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) customer, focusing on adversary uncrewed systems (UXS, UAS, UUVs, USVs, UGVs) and counter-threat network defeat. This role requires leveraging law enforcement expertise and DoD Irregular Warfare experience to provide operational analysis, intelligence fusion, and network targeting recommendations to counter irregular warfare threats. Additional focus will be placed on adversarial advanced conventional weapons (ACW) and uncrewed systems, including illicit trafficking, procurement networks, and the proliferation of dual-use technologies in the CENTCOM AOR.

 

The individual will also serve as the Site Lead, managing contract personnel, ensuring mission alignment, and facilitating coordination between stakeholders.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Irregular Warfare & Counter-Threat Network Support
    • Provide expert law enforcement perspective on adversary UXS and ACW threats and counter-network operations
    • Analyze, assess, and integrate law enforcement methodologies into CENTCOM’s irregular warfare strategy
    • Support Irregular Targeting Cell efforts against threat networks, including illicit actors, terrorist organizations, and transnational criminal elements
    • Collaborate with DoD, interagency, and coalition partners to enhance counter-threat network strategies and operational effectiveness
    • Develop intelligence-driven approaches to disrupt adversary uncrewed systems and their supporting networks
  • Operational & Analytical Support
    • Conduct assessments on adversary UXS tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
    • Synthesize law enforcement investigative techniques with military intelligence to support counter-UXS operations
    • Provide recommendations for disrupting adversary supply chains, financial networks, and operational logistics
    • Support mission planning by integrating law enforcement-derived intelligence and best practices
    • Develop and deliver training, briefings, and operational guidance on law enforcement methodologies, legal considerations, and intelligence-sharing protocols in a CENTCOM-specific context
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and international agreements governing law enforcement operations in military environments
  • Site Lead Responsibilities
    • Serve as the primary point of contact ON SITE for contract support team personnel within the CENTCOM AOR
    • Ensure contract deliverables are met in accordance with performance objectives and customer expectations
    • Facilitate coordination between contract support personnel and government representatives

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 12 years of related work experience or military/federal law enforcement service-based training with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
  • Prior law enforcement experience (federal, military, or intelligence community) with expertise in irregular warfare topics such as C-UXS, counter-threat networks, counterterrorism (CT), counter-narcotics (CN), transnational organized crime (TOC)
  • Experience integrating law enforcement methodologies into military or intelligence operations
  • Strong background in targeting, intelligence fusion, and analytical methodologies
  • Experience supporting DoD, interagency, or coalition forces in a deployed or operational setting
  • Understanding of CENTCOM operational priorities, adversary tactics, and regional threat dynamics
  • Ability to brief senior military, intelligence, and law enforcement officials effectively
  • Familiarity with Title 10/Title 50 authorities, Posse Comitatus Act, Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA), and foreign law enforcement engagement
  • Understanding of ACW, UXS, and their role in regional security dynamics, including state and non-state actor threats
  • Active Top Secret required, with eligibility for SCI
  • This position requires a highly skilled professional who can bridge law enforcement expertise with military operational needs, ensuring effective counter-threat network operations and uncrewed systems threat mitigation.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Special Operations Forces (SOF), Intelligence Community (IC), and interagency partners
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, preferably in a site lead or supervisory role
  • Knowledge of counter-UXS technologies, electronic warfare, or kinetic/non-kinetic defeat mechanisms
  • Familiarity with illicit finance networks, sanctions enforcement, and international law enforcement cooperation
  • Background in federal investigative agencies (HSI, FBI, DEA, ATF, DCIS, etc.) or military law enforcement (NCIS, OSI, MP, CID, etc.)

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
