Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Program Information System Security Officer Lead (ISSO) for the Department of Defense (DoD) DMDC Enterprise Law Enforcement Support Services (ELEs2) program. The Program ISSO works in accordance with the Transition-In plan and works in coordination with the Knowledge Transfer Team. You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of security controls in accordance with DoD requirements. In this role you will be called on to provide guidance, oversight, and expertise, and assist Program Manager and the team develop security documents or implement any security controls and perform all functions, which may include coordinating, facilitate, or otherwise ensure certain activities are being performed. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure that all required knowledge, artifacts and repositories associated with ELES2 associated with Cyber Security requirements for the DBIDS, IMESA, I2, FR and related COTS and GOTS have been transitioned.
  • Responsible for receiving the current status of all Cyber Engineers efforts and the status of the RMF process for each workstream.
  • Coordinate with Cybersecurity Division to validate the current status of each workstream to include ATO, POA&M and pending remediation actions.
  • Responsible for ensuring all cyber security information have been successfully transition to the assigned work stream lead. In the absence of a workstream lead, accepts information associated with the workstream.
  • Support the Knowledge Transfer Lead in Knowledge Transfer activities related to the task under the CO.
  • Share responsibility for Knowledge Transfer activities and program status acceptance.
  • Validate Knowledge Transfer Plan details with the Knowledge Transfer Lead to make sure all Program and Project artifacts, schedules work products and knowledge repositories have been transferred.
  • Ensure the team smoothly transitions to delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of degree
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • Certification:  IAT III
  • Knowledge of the RMF process
  • Knowledge of best practices for cyber security program standards, processes, and procedures compliance
  • The ability to complete a checklist to ensure Security Authorization Process documents are complete and comply with all guidance.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
