Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Director of Account Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals aligned to our Defense Mission and Health Solutions (DMHS) Business Unit supporting our health accounts across Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Social Security Administration (SSA), and DoD. The selected individual will support delivery and growth teams in providing mission critical healthcare technology solutions in support of the client’s mission. The individual will leverage their ability to demonstrate strategic vision to meet both current and future mission needs is key, by having strong customer engagement, strong people skills, and strong communication skills. This position will support all aspects of business planning, execution, strategy, and customer relations of this organization.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be a collaborative partner with Peraton’s Health leadership team to support strategic plans to advance Peraton’s mission and objectives and to drive growth.
  • Accountable for the successful execution of the current contracts as well as for the growth and expansion of the accounts and into adjacent accounts.
  • Support and execute strategies for driving contract delivery and growth objectives.
  • Organize and support teams through all phases of opportunities in the portfolio including account plans, pipeline development, assessment, capture, proposal development.
  • Support internal teams for proposal execution including but not limited to solution development, staffing plans, pricing, and reviews.
  • Perform contract reviews to ensure compliance, deliverables execution, quality and performance.
  • Manage the organizations repository of contracts, delivery, growth, and strategic data.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 16 years of related professional work experience managing cross functional teams, to include technical/ non-technical, and leading large-scale programs.
  • Experience providing customer insight to the larger team and ability to bring outside-in strategic thinking to the organization.
  • Established experience as a team leader; developing and leading high-performance teams to establish direction and motivate members to achieve objectives.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated strategies that capture opportunities business.
  • Knowledge of business planning, stakeholder management, product management, new product development, marketing strategy, customer analytics, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills, including effective reporting of operations, issues, and performance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10+ years of related professional work experience managing cross functional teams, to include technical/ non-technical, and leading large-scale programs.
  • 15+ years of experience managing delivery of Federal IT contracts.
  • Direct experience with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
  • Federal Contract Management Certifications including; Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting Core-Plus Specialization in Digital Services (FAC-C-DS)(2019) Certification, or Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting (FAC-C), or Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM).

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
