In this role, you'll be deeply involved in the full software development lifecycle—from designing and developing new features to optimizing performance and ensuring reliable operations. You'll work on mission-driven solutions that matter, collaborating closely with a skilled team of engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions

  • Support mission-critical operations, including sustainment and troubleshooting

  • Participate in after-hours and on-call rotations, ensuring systems are up and running when they matter most

Position Requirements

Are you a seasoned Software Engineer ready to take on impactful challenges? We’re looking for a highly skilled professional with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our innovative team working on complex, mission-critical programs.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph — a must-have to work in our secure, high-trust environment.

  • 20+ years of software engineering experience delivering excellence in projects of similar scale and complexity.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution. (Alternatively, 4 additional years of relevant SWE experience can substitute for the degree requirement.)

Your Expertise Includes:

  • Mastery in Java programming for distributed systems, with deep understanding of networking and multi-threading.

  • Hands-on experience in Agile development methodologies, thriving in dynamic team environments.

  • Skilled with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or equivalents, ensuring efficient and scalable data management.

  • Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, enabling smooth application deployment.

  • Strong foundation in Linux fundamentals and fluency in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.).

  • Proven track record implementing robust RESTful APIs.

  • Experience developing with the Spring framework to build modern, maintainable applications.

  • Familiarity with source code management tools and best practices.

  • Well-versed in enabling tools like Git, Maven, Jira.

  • Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing pipelines using Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab CI.

  • Knowledge of Continuous Monitoring solutions such as the ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Nagios.

Bonus Skills That Will Set You Apart:

  • Experience with Apache Open Source Hadoop ecosystem.

  • Knowledge of Apache Accumulo for big data storage and management.

  • Hands-on with Apache NiFi for data flow automation.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
