Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mid-Level Content Developer to manage and enhance website and application tools while ensuring high-quality content creation and platform optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience in web content development, editorial management, website administration, and data-driven decision-making. This role will play a key part in curating engaging content, gathering user feedback, and maintaining the overall usability and accessibility of multiple websites/tools.

  • Configure, administer, and manage all aspects of website and application tools.

  • Develop and provide content for multiple platforms, utilizing them as key sources for information and decision-making.

  • Oversee website editorial activities, including content gathering, research, and enhancement to improve site value.

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure content sources, ensuring relevance and user engagement.

  • Actively seek out customer feedback to drive improvements and feature enhancements.

  • Maintain expertise in production management, web page design, HTML, and web graphics standards.

  • Build search functionalities, reports, and dashboards to track performance and engagement metrics.

  • Write and develop customer scripts, reports, and programs to support content tracking and analytics.

  • Prepare architecture documentation and participate in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies to optimize content delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, web graphics types and standards, and content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to analyze user engagement, establish metrics, and optimize content strategies.

  • Experience in website usability improvements and user experience (UX) best practices.

  • A current/active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain/pass a polygraph.
  • 2 years with BS/BA in Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology, or related field; 6 years no degree.
  • 2-5 years of experience in content development, website administration, and editorial management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in government or corporate website environments.
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools, and web optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of automation scripting, dashboard creation, and advanced reporting tools.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
