Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in the design, deployment, maintenance, and security of DevSecOps infrastructure tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system efficiency, addressing interoperability issues, and maintaining optimal performance of operating systems and application dependencies. This position requires expertise in Linux-based server management, automation scripting, and cloud-based services to support dynamic web environments.

  • Design, deploy, test, certify, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including operating systems, support libraries, and application dependencies.

  • Provide Operations & Maintenance support, managing multiple tools and ensuring system reliability.

  • Deploy and configure services using Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers to streamline cloud operations.

  • Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support enterprise applications and dynamic web platforms.

  • Debug cluster-based computing architectures, ensuring smooth functionality and scalability.

  • Utilize scripting and basic programming skills to automate tasks and resolve system issues efficiently.

  • Install, configure, and maintain open-source monitoring tools to track system performance and security.

  • Address interoperability challenges, ensuring seamless integration of infrastructure components.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Linux-based environments, scripting, and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in network security, cluster computing, and automation tools.

  • Familiarity with open-source monitoring solutions and DevSecOps best practices.

  • A current/active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain/pass a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, and infrastructure management.

  • 5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in government or defense-related IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud platforms, and infrastructure security.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
