Responsibilities

Peraton is looking to add a Product Sales Lead role within our Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector Growth Team. The Product Sales Lead will be focused on BD and sales activities for Peraton’s Fraud Warfare campaign and Rapid FI product offering.

 

This position will be based out of the Reston HQ offices.  Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and execution of winning strategies for Rapid FI, including developing and qualifying a pipeline of potential customer targets and opportunities, developing marketing campaigns and call plans, conducting customer analysis, competitive analysis, solution and gap analysis, and all associated BD/sales activities for the Fraud Warfare campaign.
  • Work collaboratively with the Rapid FI growth and execution team members to facilitate both new business and on-contract growth opportunities.
  • Assist with / lead development and delivery of various whitepapers, demonstrations, proposals, and other internally developed artifacts used to identify, qualify, and capture new Rapid FI customers.
  • Assist in the development of a winning offer and solution sets.
  • Attend tradeshows and events to market and demo Rapid FI to potential customers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with opportunities, and keep leadership advised when new risks are encountered, or mitigation plans fail to achieve desired results.
  • Manage communications and relationships with partners and subcontractors, coordinating customer communications and relationships with Sector Growth / Fraud Warfare Campaign Team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of product sales experience, Master's degree and 1 year of product sales experience, or 6 years of product sales experience in lieu of education.
  • Strong analytical as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance (Secret or higher preferred).
  • US Citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent business acumen; strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and financial rules and regulations.
  • Direct experience working with Government (both Federal and State & Local) customers.
  • Extremely high level of communication skills to present, inform, and persuade high level internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to stay on top of current trends, issues, and technologies in mission areas through participation in industry groups and conferences.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
