As a key player in our mission-critical programs, you’ll help safeguard complex information systems that support some of the nation’s most important operations.

What You’ll Do:

As an ISSO at Peraton, you'll be at the forefront of cybersecurity operations, responsible for ensuring compliance with strict government security protocols and driving risk mitigation strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, implementing, and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices across high-impact systems.

• Maintaining the security posture of critical information systems, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.

• Supporting the daily security operations and compliance activities of classified systems.

• Evaluating security solutions and conducting vulnerability and risk assessments for accreditation processes.

• Overseeing security configuration management, including software, hardware, and firmware updates.

• Managing system changes and assessing their impact on security controls and requirements.

• Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining key security documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification & Accreditation (C&A) packages, and more.

• Supporting security authorization activities in compliance with government frameworks.

Position Requirements:

• An active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Two years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four additional years of experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required.
