Responsibilities

Deputy Program Manager

 

  • Assist the Senior Program Manager to manage day-to-day progress of a multifaceted program through constant interaction with the Government customer, technical and business managers and immediate staff, subcontractor partners, and program support personnel.
  • Advise the Program Manager and help oversee strategic planning, fiscal, operational, procurement and administrative management of the program.
  • Manages project operations to ensure production schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between customers.
  • Help develop budgets, schedules, performance and risk identification/mitigation on project. Coordinated resolutions to production-related problems.
  • Understand customer requirements to ensure all inquiries are delivered high quality (error free) and are delivered on time.
  • Responsible for creating and managing an Integrated Master Schedule for all tasks, program management actions and reporting requirements, ensuring traceability of all studies, model development, and project milestones. Coordinate with key stakeholders across various program workflows to gather schedule data, including discrete events, outlining dependencies among events and schedule. Analyze data for schedule and critical path impact to the program. Performs program schedule analysis to include Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances. Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
  • Provide inputs to weekly and monthly performance reports, monthly and quarterly statistics, or as necessary, to the Program Manager to ensure acceptable performance is maintained for all staff supporting the program.
  • Participate in program meetings and be prepared to address or disseminate anything of need concerning customer policies, procedures, and/or clarifications. Proactively provide leadership continual feedback on key program metrics and contract activities using existing tools and feedback mechanisms.
  • Act as the point of contact with the Government when Program Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications:

 

  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 16 years of experience OR Master's degree with 14 years of relevant work experience OR 20 years of experience w/o degree
  • Proven experience in government or private industry in contact center operations management or other relevant work areas.
  • Program Management experience working with the DIA/MSIC
  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible Management, Project Management or equivalent specialized experience with Project Management tools and techniques. Should be able to identify and communicate program risks and recommend mitigation.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: ·

  • Demonstrated experience creating, updating, and maintain Integrated Management Schedule and proficient utilizing Program Management SW Tools.
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter with proven leadership ability, as well as demonstrated success working with limited supervision while coordinating activities with security, operations, quality assurance, contracts, and other program execution functions.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with technical and military analysts across thse Intelligence Community or other DoD organizations
  • Excellent time management and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and/or reprioritize daily tasks based on the needs of the program program management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, identifying, and removing obstacles, and process execution.
  • Remain flexible and receptive to policy changes, departmental changes and adjust accordingly.
  • Program Management Professional Certification, or equivalent certification

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
