Responsibilities

The General Information Technology Manager will be responsible for the management of 5-7 configuration management (CM), knowledge management (KM), information management, records management, and disaster recovery / continuity of operations IT professionals. The team is responsible for developing and implementing Configuration Management (CM) processes for all networks and supporting technologies. The team is responsible developing, implementing, and maintaining an information, knowledge, and records management capability as well as supporting the IT investment strategy compliance.

 

Responsibilities include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards. This person will serve as a key member of the IT management team, who will work with other team leaders and task areas to:

  • Clarify/resolve process-related activities for technical team.
  • Monitor and report progress against plans through final acceptance and signoff.
  • Manage, coordinate, and resolve project issues, decisions, and risks.

 

If the candidate is already on the program, the candidate will maintain Individual Contributor (IC) role. If the candidate is not, then she/he/they would also need to be selected for an open IC role. The candidate does not have to be a part of the CM / KM team; however, the manager will need to part of the IT Task on program.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong customer and partner relationship building skills
  • Must be able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships, as well as handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve conflicts.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous Management experience.
  • Familiarity with supervised/unsupervised machine learning.
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and large language models (LLMs) pipelines to support fielding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities for government-directed use-cases.
  • Demonstrate experience running a DEVSECOPS Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) pipeline.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
