On Call Technical Lead

We are hiring! We are adding an on-call Technical Lead to our team! The qualified candidate will support our IRS Program and will join a high performing team. 

What you will do:

• Complete updates to weekly and monthly status reports on time and with high quality.
• Work with other teams as needed to consult regarding any technical challenges or technology opportunities as needed.
• Manage schedules to ensure on time or early delivery for any report or other deliverable.
• Use strong communication skills to facilitate discussions amongst teams and IRS customers as needed.
• Develop white papers on technologies and processes.
• Develop briefing materials for potential new business.
• Perform research on emerging technologies.
• Implement policies and procedures regarding identifying, receiving, documenting, distributing, and correcting problems. 
• Ensure issue/problem resolution processes are in place to meet Service Level Agreements.
• Establish objectives and direct staff activities to improve technical support practices in the areas of quality, knowledge-centered support, and resolution timeframes.
• Coordinate customer service activities with other internal functions. 
• Participate in change management and root cause analysis to support the ITSM team.
• Define alarm conditions, escalation processes, and procedures to support Operations and the ITSM team. 
• Document day-to-day processes and procedures based on ITSM framework
• Define reports and dashboard information that will demonstrate the operational performance
• Manage the distribution of patches and software releases.
• Drive trend analysis of incidents to prevent future incidents from happening.
• Perform problem identification, recording, investigation, and diagnosis.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. 
• Prepare and approve Standard Operating Procedures and other technical documentation. 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA. Additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree
• Atleast 12 years of experience in government agency or private corporate environment 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
• Professional leadership experience in technical project management or related fields.
• Experience working with data in areas of replication, migration, and/or reporting
• Experience in information technology related fields.
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills
• Must be US Citizen 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Agency Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of professional leadership experience in any information technology field(s)
