Communications Engineering/Video Communications Operator

Peraton is seeking a Video Communications Operator to join our team on-site in Washington, DC.

What you'll do:

• Provide subject matter expert support in classified studio VTC operations, coordination, scheduling, tier 1 troubleshooting, and management.   
• This support function shall provide occasional over-site of after-hours testing/troubleshooting. 
• Video Operations shall support flexible scheduling to include regular weekend scheduling and “on call” duties as need to support mission. 
• The video operator  team (as a whole) shall cover core hours of 06:00 to 18:00 seven days a week with some flexible reductions of weekend duty at the direction of the government in the primary location. 
• At this time, weekend/on call support is on a rotational schedule among team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

TS/SCI

• Degree: BA or BS Degree in an IT related field. May substitute education with experience in the above-cited duties.
• Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 8 years, or Master's Degree with 6, 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience with Cisco Unifited Communications Manager (CUCM), TMS/Codian, IP Gateways, and/or inter-governmental secure communications.
• Possesses specialized knowledge in one or more aspects of the telecommunications, internetworking, data network, and CTI/VVID fields and may have specialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas: routing and IP telephony integration for CTI/VVID converged networks.
