PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Come join a flexible and responsive IT environment to quickly meet evolving and changing mission priorities for an IC customer. Mission operations supported include strategic and tactical intelligence analysis and integration; screening, vetting, and watchlisting; situational awareness; and strategic planning. Operate and maintain the IT environment, integrate new systems into the environment from separate developers, design, develop, and implement enhancements to the IT environment that will provide the stability and flexibility required to meet mission needs and support other mission partners. Follow a DevSecOps execution model that integrates services, hardware, software, and data support; incorporates new sources; maintains ingestion services as formats/schemas change; improves throughput and efficiency; develops and deploys self-service tools to exploit and use data more quickly, thoroughly, and robustly; and manages compliance requirements as may be necessary to satisfy service, application, tool, data, and other IT mission needs. Though the majority of applications have been migrated to the cloud, there are multiple independent on-premises networks. Maintain hardware and network connections inside the enclaves and other external mission partners; the majority of all servers are virtualized.

Applicant will:

  • Identifying component subsystems of the overall system and determining the requirements for ensuring that the subsystems work together to function as a single system, including integration paths for partner agency data, both regularly shared and ad hoc in nature, to enable rapid exposure to analysts.
  • Planning, documenting, and maintaining solutions to total systems or subsystems that use internally created and/or COTS products.
  • Providing a total system perspective to include relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.
  • As required, research COTS and GOTS solutions to solve integration problems and/or meet system requirements.
  • Ensure services enhancements follow the structured development, test, and release management processes in addition to stringent change management and configuration control and enforcement of SLAs. Identifying, formulating, coordinating, maintaining, delivering, and updating required interface specifications. Including the definition of services, data flows, and dependencies for internal and external service providers.
  • Integrating and optimizing workflow, automation, manual processes (where necessary), and feedback loops across the DevSecOps environment and with mission owner elements to enable automated, continuous delivery to mission.
