Systems Engineering

Peraton is seeking an System Engineer on their DataRunner team is looking for an SE-2.5 to assist in managing requirements and customer outreach to support a new version of the DataRunner application.  We are looking for someone experienced with defining and managing requirements and experienced in software integration supporting a distributed architecture. The candidate will be expected to meet with the customer, developers and stakeholders to elicit information in building out requirements. Create dataflow documents, software architecture diagrams, product documentation and provide outreach support.

• Customer Data Formats & Dataflow – Understanding various customer data formats and how data moves through systems.
• Software Development – Experience with coding, debugging, and software lifecycle processes.
• Software Integration – Ability to integrate different software components within a distributed architecture.
• Customer Outreach – Strong communication skills to engage with customers, gather requirements, and provide support.

Must have:

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Linux – Proficiency in working with Linux-based operating systems.
• AWS & Cloud Technologies – Familiarity with cloud computing environments, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
