Responsibilities

 

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Project /Program Manager to serve as Primary Point of Contact (POC) for an application modernization program opportunity with FDIC. The PM will be responsible for program delivery and provide overall leadership for all contractor personnel assigned to the program. The PM is ultimately responsible for overall delivery, quality and financial health of the program. The PM shall be available to respond to customer questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the customer and Peraton leadership to potential contractual or programmatic issues including situations that may compromise the team’s ability to provide services.

 

The Program Manager will provide:

 

  • Leadership, oversight, and management of a complex application modernization program, which covers a portfolio of projects
  • Ensures delivery and performance against contract and program requirements
  • Serves as a single point of accountability and responsibility to the government and P
  • Coordinates and ensures completion of deliverables, and other contractual requirements
  • Responsible for and performs risk management, manages program budget
  • Responsible for creating and presenting quarterly PMRs
  • Develops and implements long-term strategies, roadmaps, and monitors execution to ensure alignment of tactical activities
  • Evaluates performance against design and schedule requirements and constraints
  • Successfully implements agile methodology on the program
  • Consults and advises senior Federal leadership
  • Ensures Federal leaders have actionable information in a timely manner necessary to obtain decision/guidance to facilitate program execution

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
  • 10 years of IT experience
  • 10+ years providing program/project management for complex IT solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing Agile software development and/or application modernization teams
  • Proven ability to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for complex IT projects, or organizational transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in managing in a continuous integration and DevOps environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with the management, manpower utilization, and supervision of employees (including subcontractors) of various labor categories and skills in projects similar in size and scope complex IT projects, or organizational transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance environment that includes knowledge of customer satisfaction tracking, user complaint and monitoring programs, and quality control programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven results in coordinating and managing at the executive level
  • Current Public Trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Must be a us citizen
  • PMP certification
  • Agile/Scrum certification

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s level degree in a technical and/or management field from an accredited institution in computer science, information systems/IT,  Business Administration, or similar area of study.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
