Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Project Management System Integrator (Sr. PMSI) to support numerous high-visibility projects as well as to provide front office support to a government customer in Chantilly, Virginia.  Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Facilitate and manage meetings for a variety of different stakeholders to include senior leadership and working groups
  • Coordinate and facilitate project PMRs which includes helping create PMR briefings, track project financials, schedule, identify risks/issues, and the way forward
  • Maintain an action tracking system for action items related to projects
  • Track assigned actions to ensure completion and response (overseeing requirements tracking processes, ensure all outstanding requests for requirements are tracked, and communicate status)
  • Provide meeting minutes (with increasing knowledge of substantive areas over time specifically technical meetings), highlights, slide decks (updates on correct templates for stakeholders), Excel/Office spreadsheets
  • Format, proofread, and edit correspondence and review other documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and conformance with guidance and ensure response adequately addresses concern/question. Route/track through to completion
  • Seek information from appropriate internal/external resources to provide background information, as required, adequately addressing and resolving issues and concerns
  • Participate and assist with establishing and supporting technical exchanges between the various experts
  • Prepare, maintain, and assist with the preparation and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), System Requirements Specifications (SRSs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Requests for Change (RFCs), Test Plans, and other project documents
  • Review milestone documentation to ensure consistency with project requirements
  • Attend CIR, PDR, CDR, monthly, and other reviews, document results of these meetings, solicit and integrate comments providing recommendations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with active and relevant polygraph
  • Bachelors degree in a business, engineering, science, or other related or non-technical discipline plus 8 years of experience, or a related Masters degree and 6 years of experience
  • Project management experience including schedule development, monitoring, and contingency planning
  • Identifying and championing business process improvements
  • Desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects
  • Self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments
  • Experience with System integration work (writing technical requirements, evaluating design documentation, etc.)

Desired:

  • Previous customer experience
  • Experience with program/project management
  • Previous experience directly supporting leadership level
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, lead, and execute process improvements

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
