Summer & Fall 2025 Procurement/Supply Chain Intern

Peraton is seeking a Summer & Fall 2025 Procurement/Supply Chain Intern to support our Corporate Procurement Team based out of Reston, VA, but this role can be supported 100% remotely.

This role would be full-time, 40 hours per week during Summer & Fall 2025 terms; June 2025 through December 2025.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee purchases of materials, equipment, products, parts, services, and supplies necessary for on-going operations and new business opportunities.
• Execute and manage long-term supplier agreements resulting in favorable pricing/discounts/terms & conditions with preferred partners and value-added resellers. 
• Support winning new business by translating client proposal requirements into cybersecurity supply chain risk management solutions.
• Improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of managing Peraton's corporate hardware and software assets.
• Ensure Peraton procurement transactions, processes, policies, and procedures comply with government regulations.
• Provide tools, data analytics and reporting to enable/measure procurement effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support the efficacy of Peraton’s staffing solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship.
• HS Diploma and some advanced level training.
• A current undergrad enrolled at an accredited university in a 4-year degree program actively pursuing a BS/BA/BBA degree, or higher, in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
• Familiarity with the concept of supply chain management.
• Experience with MS Suite: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Strong oral and written communications skills, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Takes initiative and follows through on commitments.
• An avid learner that is curious and eager to grow.
• Customer service-oriented professional.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous work experience through class projects, extracurricular involvement, or previous internships.
• Ability to be detail-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines.
• 3.0 and above GPA.
