GCCS-J Administrator

We are seeking an experienced GCCS-J Administrator for our position in Bellevue, Nebraska.

The candidate that we hire will be expected to perform the following:

• Install, configure and maintain networked UNIX, Linux and Windows systems to support mission requirements.
• Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages in accordance with program directives.
• Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum level of performance.
• Maintain system backups and database archives to support data and media recovery.
• Maintain user accounts according to government approved procedures.
• Provide computer support as needed to resolve hardware/software issues.
• Conduct routine hardware and software audits on workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures and configuration guidelines.
• Understand, adhere to, and implement established security policies.
• Perform proactive and reactive system administration to ensure the availability, integrity, and reliability data and services.
• Provide recommendations regarding system performance and capacity planning, including new technologies to enhance current systems and infrastructure.
• Requires participation in a rotating schedule for 24x7 support.

Minimum of 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years of applicable work or military experience will be accepted.

Clearance Requirement:

• Active DoD TS/SCI 

Candidate must be able to:

• Install/configure/maintain the Red Hat operating system on VMware virtualization infrastructure
• Install/configure/maintain Windows Server  2019 and Windows 10 operating systems
• Interpret and modify batch, shell, and PowerShell scripts.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• Knowledge of virtualization concepts and products (VMware)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user and groups
• Knowledge of Red Hat Operating Systems
• Knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Workstation)
• Oracle/Sybase/Postgress database maintenance
• Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)
