We are looking for a Mid-level Systems Engineer, with hands-on Agile and Scrum Master experience, to join our dynamic, fast paced NEE Joint Agency Engineering & Integration Team. With your hands-on Agile experience and Systems Engineering lifecycle knowledge, you will serve as the Scrum Master to a newly established cross-Divisional Scrum Team working to modernize Systems Engineering processes (e.g., Architecture, Requirements, Risk Management, Schedule Management, Configuration Management) and drive standardized adoption across the Enterprise. You will work closely with your Government Product Owner to facilitate agile team events and processes that deliver value. You also will participate in Tiger Team efforts to establish new Joint Integration Working Groups, where you will stand-up the Jira Backlog and Kanban, help to facilitate Backlog Grooming Sessions for the WG, develop Confluence Sites for team collaboration, partner with Cross-Functional Teams to develop Epics and Features, and work with your NEE Project Leadership to plan and execute WG meetings.
As your primary responsibilities allow, you will have the opportunity to support GEOINT ground modernization activities with multi-Agency touchpoints, participating on Joint Integration Project Teams and working across the Systems Engineering “V”. Working with Senior and Expert NEE Systems Engineers, you will provide a variety of systems engineering services, to digitally research, assess, and document impacts to the enterprise architecture, requirements, interfaces, CONOPS, schedule, and test; identify associated costs and risks; develop recommended Courses of Action (COAs); and participate in activities spanning integration, test, and transition.
You will build effective relationships across Government Organizations and Contractor Teams to ensure coordinated enterprise solutions to enhance systems engineering services and to deliver IC missions. Your agile and systems engineering roles ensure enterprise services and organizations work together in an integrated fashion to modernize engineering and integration processes and deliver mission capabilities and solutions.
