COMSEC Trainer/Specialist

Peraton is seeking a Senior Associate COMSEC Trainer for our Korea site. We support the "Eighth Army which is America's Pacific Guardians of Freedom". Our team supports C4I functions for the Eighth Army Headquarters and seven Major Subordinate Commands to include tactical communications for multiple theater-level exercises and training events. As our COMSEC Trainer you'll have the opportunity to:

• Support the 8A G6 COMSEC team by providing the Management Client (MGC) Course Training in multiple locations throughout the Korean Theater of Operations.
• Provide MGC Course instruction including KMI achitecture; Management Client; workstation hardware and related systems; system initialization and interface with other accounts; accounting and managing COMSEC material; order, generate, and distriibute traditional and modern keys; conduct inventories, destroy keys, and perform other accounting procedures; and prepare and submit reports within the KMI hierarchy. 
• Maintain COMSEC classroom and equipment including managing Windows accounts, restoring KMI accounts to a factory state, resetting tokens, and preparing student handouts and test material. In addition, manage the control and inventory of COMSEC materials and equipment completing various reports, briefings, etc. as dictated by the CSLA or COMSEC Management Office-Korea.
• Assist in providing customer support including class scheduling, resolving equipment issues, assisting units or organizations with inquiries, questions, software upgrade procedures, and referrals to the customer support center.
• Provide training on Secure Telephone Equipment (STE), vIPR phone, Simple Key Loader (SKL) administration, related ancillary operational COMSEC equipment, and Security Engineering support.

Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or closely related field and minimum of 2 relevant years of experience.
• May consider 4 years experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Years of experience in lieu must include 4 continuous years performing COMSEC Training tasks. 
• COMSEC Training experience
• DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (i.e. Sec+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP. (subject to verification)
• Active US Secret Clearance.
