Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Lead MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration  Engineer)  to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and optimizing the assets and compliance, software library, monitoring, and managing, troubleshooting, of the client-side agent for MECM/SCCM. Additionally, will be providing Application and vulnerability packaging. This is considered a Key Personnel position.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Act as SME for all MECM related issues and guide internal teams in resolving MECM server/client issues.
  • Develop/Test/Suggest solutions as per latest industry trends.
  • Work with Client-side SME to manage MECM infrastructure and provide solutions.
  • Assist client-side SME in access control and provide support to internal teams in access related issues.
  • Provide MECM software distribution to guidance and support packaging team members.
  • Provide MECM OSD guidance and support to imaging team members
  • Provide software updated guidance and support for vulnerability team members.
  • Participate in client-side projects and provide guidance/support as needed.
  • Participate in ad-hoc issue resolution tiger teams and provide expertise.
  • Work independently and as part of team to provide industry standard solutions.
  • Work closely with other support teams in client organization and represent Peraton.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience. Additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational experience using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM aka SCCM).
  • Experience providing IT engineering services managing Window Laptops and Desktops.
  • Experience with a distributed environment of at least 5000 workstations.
  • Experience with application packaging including Microsoft Software Installer.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as: Windows PowerShell, VBScript, Batch / Command Shell, XML, LDAP, and other automated deployment related scripting languages and components.
  • Familiarity with MECM applications and packages that can include: creating, reading, deploying, troubleshooting task sequences, boot images or logging, for operating systems deployments.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Public Trust Clearanc is a plus

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
