Responsibilities

Peraton requires a Requirements Analyst to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located at MacDill AFB, FL.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces; maintain tactical communication systems and tactical network infrastructure; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; schedule and plan training on all tactical systems. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. 

The Requirements Analyst must be an excellent analytical thinker and problem solver, as well as effective communicator. The Requirements Analyst must have a broad understanding of and experience working with translating requirements into operational solutions. Close coordination with colleagues across internal departments and external agencies is commonStrong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Project management experience and a strong technical and functional knowledge of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are a plusThe Requirements Analyst must also have a thorough understanding of the government processes such as operational deficiency reports and combat mission needs statements. The Analyst shall perform its work in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, directives, and industry best practices. 

 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintaining detailed records of ongoing equipment life cycle, replacement, issuing and status tracking of all SOCOM Program of Record tactical systems. 
  • Executing logistical processes and maintaining awareness of assets and project resources throughout the life cycle. 
  • Coordinating logistics thorough knowledge of the Global Combat Support System – Army, Joint Force and Asset Search Tool (JFAAST), and SOLMAN-EMI. 
  • Recommending and maintaining policies, changes to policies, procedures, and analyzing and defining systems, functions, process, and user needs. 
  • Updating system requirements based on changes in operations or policy. 
  • Creating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides. 
  • Proposing resolutions to address issues and concerns. 
  • Identifying problems and necessary corrective actions. 
  • Providing technically sound resolutions to the Government. 
  • Developing and designing technical documentation. 
  • Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission. 

Qualifications

Required qualifications: 

  • Minimum 12 years of experience with HS Diploma, 10 years of experience with AA/AS, 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years of experience with MS/MA
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance or above is required. 
  • No certifications required. 
  • Five years of experience with at least two years of related experience with requirements analysis and documentation for large projects. 
  • Five years of experience in military logistics

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
