Peraton requires Systems Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions is located at the SOCSOUTH Headquarters at Homestead AFB, FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Systems Architects perform tier four architecture and engineering support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Individuals in this position require an extensive background in all aspects of systems technology. Systems Architects develop and document web site architectures and best practices, and provide design and architectural recommendations for long-term/chronic problem resolution, such as MILCON and Installation Information Infrastructure Architecture (I3A) standards. Systems Architects troubleshoot enterprise voice, video, cloud, and data networks and evaluate the impact of architectural changes on the network.
Systems Architects must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. System Architect must possess a wealth of knowledge in a Hybrid Infrastructure environment with experience in migrating systems from on-Prem to Cloud Servicing. Ability manage deployed systems and make recommended to optimize services in geographically separated locations in the area of responsibility. They typically have a background in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Systems Architects maintain currency in applicable industry standards from bodies such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), as well as applicable military standards such as MILCON and Installation Information Infrastructure Architecture (I3A) standards.
