Responsibilities

• Performs and manages the development, coordination, and maintenance of agreements between DC3 leadership and external organizations in accordance with DC3 Instruction 25-1 Agreements Process and applicable DoD and USAF policies, instructions and approved agreement formats.

• Clarifies and documents requirements, participant expectations, and resource implications in order to ensure considerations and risks have been identified, addressed, and mitigated.

• Supports and enables the DC3 Support Agreement Manager (SAM) and Functional Area Agreement Coordinator (FAAC) with timely development of Agreements in accordance with DoD, USAF, and DC3 policies and instructions.

• Reviews, revises, renews and/or terminates agreements on an annual basis in order to ensure continuous improvement of External Agreements and continued maturation of DC3 as an independent Field Operating Agency.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
  • Proven high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in overseeing and managing external contracts and agreements.
  • Experience with ensuring all contracts align with organizational goals and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with external partners.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and agreements. 
  • Strong ability to address any issues which arise during the contract lifecycle and ensure external partners comply with contractual obligations. 
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation of all contracts for senior leadership. 
  • Experience analyzing contracts to identify trends and identify areas of improvement. 
  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • Active Top Secret clearance

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. 
  • Experience in leadership or senior advisory role. 
  • 10+ years of experience in contract management. 
  • Proven track record of innovative problem-solving and strategic thinking. 
  • Experience driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Preferred Certification: Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
