Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to work on our growing team. The person who fills this role will help to support proposals, contracts administration, and general business processes of contract management for Homeland and Civil government programs.

 

The will be responsible for the following: 

 

  • Assist in managing  a portfolio of contracts of various contract types and complexities. 
  • Partner with Project teams to provide daily support on coordination of  contractual and business matters. 
  • Ensure project compliance with government contracting requirements.
  • Manage the start-up and close-out process for all assigned projects.
  • Assist in the development of  cost proposals and narratives for proposals
  • Develop strong customer relationships, interacting frequently, and working with internal and external customers to support resolution of issues and streamline processes.
  • Assist in analyze, prepare, and administer contractual agreements such as Teaming & Non-Disclosure Agreements, Contracts, Subcontracts, and other binding agreements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experience or 3+ years with a Masters (may be substituted for equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience).
  • Experience working proposal responses to Request for Proposal (RFP), participating in RFP and proposal review meetings, contract pre-award meetings, and drafting/finalization of contract.
  • Experience managing Government contracts under FAR, DFAR, and other agency supplements. 
  • Experience preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of the project team (includes representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization person’s documents

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in general business applications like Deltek CostPoint, Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Self-starter and independent worker with good organizational and computer skills.
  • Basic Knowledge of contract types and terms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
