Responsibilities

Full Stack Developer Mid-Level Skillset Description:

Peraton is looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer who will be a part of an agile software development team and integral in performing software developing, O&M support, and adhere to agile methodology and scrum ceremonies. Key skills needed for the position include experiences with React, JavaScript, Java, SQL/RDBMS, strong verbal and written skills, and experiences with the technology and business tools listed below.

 

Position Description:  

• Provide development and O&M support for a React web application with Java API backend server. 

• Develop in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. 

• Work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. 

• Provide O&M support which will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of enhancement specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. 

• Assist in supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. 

 

Location: This position requires 30% onsite in our D.C. location, or needed to support mission needs, and 70% telework (remote work).

Qualifications

Skills and Experience to Support SDP Team: 

• Must have strong User Interface (UI) developing skills using React, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Strong development experience required in the following technologies/areas: Java, Spring Framework 5+, Spring Boot 2, Hibernate 5+, SQL/RDBMS, RESTful APIs, Maven build tool, and Git.

• Additional experience required in the following technologies/areas: AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch).

• Experience in full software development life cycle.

• Experience with Agile and Scrum and Kanban frameworks/methodologies.

• Experience with Atlassian tools to include Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and automation.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Self-motivated with strong initiative to help team grow. 

• Active Top-Secret Clearance.

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
