Responsibilities

Peraton Space Technology Services (STS) is the prime contractor on the Environmental Test and Integration Services III (ETIS III) contract at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).  We support the GSFC Engineering and Technology Directorate’s Mechanical Systems Division in Greenbelt, Maryland. We provide facility operations and maintenance as well as integration and testing to support spaceflight hardware development. 

 

The GSFC Environmental Test and Integration Facilities ensure spacecraft and flight experiments will withstand the rigors of launch and will operate properly in the space environment. In addition to operations, these technical facilities have on-going goals of advancing the state-of-the-art in the development of improved space flight systems. The GSFC Environmental Test and Integration Facilities are one of the most complete and comprehensive space hardware test complexes within the United States Government.

 

Join our dynamic and diverse Peraton Technology Services Team on site, at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), as our ETIS Business Manager.  You will be a key leader on our Environmental Test and Integration Services (ETIS) contract as part of the team. You have the unique opportunity to be engaged in multiple exciting space projects in the GSFC state-of-the-art facilities. 

 

The ETIS Business Manager will:

 

Serve as the manager for all business support functions required of the ETIS III contract including responsibilities to ensure the contracts, subcontracts, and procurements are executed per FAR and TS requirements, financial reports are delivered per customer requirements, and that ETIS III cost control is maintained and customized as required by the program

 

Standard Duties

  • Overall management and successful implementation of contractual and financial requirements for ETIS III
  • Implement corporate financial policy and plans
  • Provide overall direction for ETIS III accounting, finance, cash, and budget functions and management of financial, procurement, logistics and travel.
  • Analyze cost-to-date versus projections and notifies appropriate personnel
  • Prepare reports, as required, for all property related reports for internal and external requirements; maintain the official records of all ETIS III (real and expendable) property
  • Accurate / timely preparation of subcontracts, financial documents / reports
  • Prepare task plans or estimates needed for response to Customer requests
  • Maintain open / continuous communication with Customer representatives, corporate management, and program staff at all levels using a combination of verbal and written means
  • Work directly with technical management team to negotiate / execute contract modifications and establish contracting relationships with consultants and suppliers
  • Oversight of procurement administration (including subcontracts, audits, variance analyses, and purchase orders for equipment, materials, and supplies)
  • Implement all cost, schedule, and property management procedures required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required

 

Specific Requirements / Licensing

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of the financial organization
  • Knowledge of principles of financial management and supervision, training and performance evaluation with skills in short and long-range planning, problem analysis and resolution

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or equivalent degree with 10 years of experience in business management, program control, or related fields. In lieu of a degree 10 plus years of experience in Business Management or relating field.
  • Experience with Federal Government contracts and subcontracts. 
  • Experience with tracking budgets and tasks.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing personnel in a represented workforce

Must be able to obtain a NASA PIV badge and complete background check. Must be a US person.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
