Responsibilities

We are hiring! Our FRB Program is looking to add a Senior Manage File Transfer to the team. FRB utilizes secure message file transfer connections for dozens of critical Treasury applications to support hundreds of partners connections with thousands of connection

flow, transmitting thousands of financial transactions globally daily for Treasury services. 

 

The migration team will be responsible for the successful migration of each partner connection to support the 18-month migration window.

 

What you will do:

  • Utilize strong UNIX Solaris / Linux systems administration skills to administer and configuring IBM MQ, Connect Direct, Axway Secure Transport, and SFTP
  • Lead communication migration efforts to provide highly available, scalable, reliable, and secure network communications transport services to meet the customer’s business needs
  • Provide administrative, operational, and management support
  • Achieve agreed-to Service Levels
  • Provide On-Call connection escalation support
  • Configuring and migration of requested secure connections and support, as needed
  • Providing telephone support, to include diagnostics and troubleshooting, to remote partners
  • Performing all required preventive maintenance and coordinating other non-emergency maintenance on all network connections
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and operational recommendations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in the field. Additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Must have strong administration support skills in UNIX (Solaris / Linux), AWS Cloud, and IBM MQ
  • Connect Direct, Axway Secure Transport, and SFTP experience
  • Hands on experience with Terraform, AWS EKS, CloudWatch
  • Deep experience with AWS cloud automation and resilient design architectures
  • Experience with management of SSL, TLS, data encryption, and certificates
  • Experience with AWS environments and technologies (S3, BLOB)
  • Strong scripting experience (Shell, Perl, Python)
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Individuals must be able to lead, implement, and support of specialized business and technical information technology solutions
  • Must be willing to work off hours, weekends and on-call
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
