Responsibilities

Peraton Labs is seeking a Front-End Developer to work collaboratively with our Peraton Labs Network Systems team to build compelling and easy to use applications for a multitude of different projects. Working closely with other team members as well as directly with our customer, in a fast-paced environment, you will be challenged to utilize and grow your skills to build interfaces for a diverse set of applications. To be considered, candidates must be creative, passionate about process improvement, be self-sufficient, passionate for learning new things and have a strong technical ability in the following areas:

The ideal candidate will be one who is able to collaborate as part of a dynamic customer, Peraton Labs, and subcontractor team as well as execute work independently. 

 

This position requires full time on-site work out of College Park, MD or Laurel, MD.

Qualifications

Education:

Three (3) years of experience in application prototype development and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related discipline. In lieu of a Bachelors’ degree an additional four (4) years experience is required for a total of seven (7) years of experience

 

Experience Required:

· Experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and related front-end technologies in a professional environment

· JavaScript Frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular.js also apply

· Demonstrate a good understanding of the syntax and semantics of JavaScript/Typescript

· Experience utilizing RESTful API web services in front-end development

· Demonstrate an understanding of how API’s work within a full-stack environment

· Demonstrate a basic understanding of NoSQL/SQL language

· Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

 

Desired Qualifications

· Familiarity with Python

· Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new technologies

· Experience with design, development, test, verification, and certification of operational software

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
