Data Scientist

Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for someone who leads and acts as a full participant as a Data Scientist who may also perform as a Project Lead for TDL responses. Utilizes Advana to aggregate data from various sources including DoD systems, mission partners, and intelligence databases. You will provide collaborative working group short-term objective support in the classified and unclassified arena, such as contributing to emerging technology (innovation and prototyping). 

#SOUTHCOM     

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Minimum 8 YOE with Bachelor Degree or 6 YOE with Master Degree or 3 YOE with PhD
• Experience providing essential capabilities in data management strategy (i.e., data management, data-centricity, and analytic development).
• Expereience facilitating the methods by which the forces ingest, curate, and process data into information suitable for analysis.
• Experience employing data-analytic methodologies and data science modeling, data engineering, algorithms, and other techniques and tools to identify trends, provide analysis, make assessments, make future projections, and incorporate insights into intelligence, operations, logistics, and other products.
• Experience providing data governance to inform strategic decision-making, enable military operations, and improve operational efficiency. Collaborates with Knowledge Management organization for development of cohesive KM strategies and methodology plans using the existing Government domains.
