Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for someone who leads and acts as a full participant as an Operational Planner - Security Assistance and Security Cooperation. You will be part of the Operational Planning Team (OPT) providing cross-synchronization across tasks and use automated workflows for integrated planning and assessments.  You may also perform as a Project Lead.  Conducts comprehensive assessment of  Campaign Plans events & the overall Command programs against theater and national objectives to understand those event impacts and to inform future program activities. Assesses the success, relevance, applicability of training and teaching, and any applicable data, trends, and metrics.

Qualifications

  • Basic Quals:

    • Active TS/SCI Clearance
    • Minimum 8 YOE with Bachelor Degree, or 6 YOE with Master Degree, or 3 YOE with PhD
    • Experience using AI/ML-enabled methods to ingest, merge, enrich, sort, and analyze data and provide synced reporting to support key leader engagements, regional planning, convergence activities, and event planning.
    • Experience developing, implementing, managing, and assessing security assistance and security cooperation (SA/SC) programs.
    • Experience and expertise for training efforts; teaching partner forces in various adverse environments.
    • Experience providing technical knowledge and recommend technology/equipment to help the partner force interoperate with U.S. forces.

    Preferred Quals:

    • Master’s Degree or PhD from an accredited college or university

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
