Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Geolocational Analysis Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Geolocational Analysis Systems Engineer on our team, you will provide systems engineering support the customer in identifying critical technical and business dependencies across a multitude of programs which will generate requirements/resources to improve the overall health and status of geolocation and combat support modernization across the enterprise.  Responsibilities include supporting the following:

  • Develop/maintain a comprehensive inventory of the existing programs, products, and services.
  • Organize the engineering activities to support current and future tasks and identify risks and dependencies.
  • Document requirements and coordinate with the relevant program management points of contact.
  • Coordinate with leadership to mitigate risks, management dependencies, and address issues.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings between the customer and key partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Familiarity/Experience in Geolocational tools
  • Familiarity/Experience with Combat Support Modernization initiatives
  • Familiarity/Experience with Engineering Management
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Experience with IC industry and customer

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
