Cyber Software Engineering, Senior Advisor

The NiFi team is looking for a software development lead who can provide oversight and management of the development team and software releases. This position will require most of the candidates time managing the team, but will also provide about 20%-25% time to perform development activities.

Successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in Agile Software Development, be well organized, self-motivated, engaging, communicative, willing to learn and investigate technologies, mission systems, mission data. They will need to collaborate as needed with development team members and have the ability to work independently. They will interface with all project leads for status updates on work in progress, release schedules and development ticket prioritizations. In addition they will manage Confluence pages for creating and managing project technical documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Agile Software Development, Java development or UI development experience, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, Confluence, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• An active TS/SCI security clearnace with polygraph is required.
