Joint Inspection (JI) Analyst and Trainer

Peraton is currently seeking a talented Joint Inspection (JI) Analyst and Trainer to our Peratons' Southern European Task Force - Africa (SETAF-AF) Strategic Mission Support (SMS) team.

Location: Vicenza, Italy.  

In this role, you will: 

• Manage and instruct the JI training program, oversee records management, liaise with outside agencies, maintain JI kits and equipment, support exercises, operations, contingencies, and conduct quality assurance inspections, with travel expected for these activities.
• You will complete administrative tasks to create and manage a JI training and certification program for approval by USAREUR-AF CG, develop a comprehensive JI course to certify VMC personnel for airlift movements outside of AMC main aerial ports, and instruct classes on air mobility operations, cargo preparation, and non-certified Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) movements.
• Your responsibilities also will include teaching courses on document preparation for cargo movement on various missions, developing a training calendar, providing on-demand instruction, assisting VMC units in cargo preparation, advising SETAF-AF staff, maintaining training records and producing monthly reports, establishing and maintaining contacts with AMC agencies and USAF units, maintaining SETAF-AF procured JI kits, and suggesting improvements for equipment and JI kits.

Required: 

• Bachelors degree and a minimum 10 years as a USAF Air Transportation Specialist, Craftsman Level AFSC (USAF 2T2, Skill Level 7) experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Current or previous USAF Joint Inspection qualified within past three years.
• Current certified HAZMAT Inspector, as required by AFMAN 24-604 A25.3.
• Current or previously certified ICODES Load Planner.
• Familiar with Defense Transportation Regulation, Appendix O/P/V.
• Current or previously certified 10K AT Forklift Operator.
• Experience leading classroom instruction.
• United States citizenship required
• Active Secret security clearance.

Desired: 

• Experience working at a Joint or Component Command Level.
• 20 years of experience as a USAF Air Transportation Specialist, Craftsman or higher AFSC (USAF 2T2, Skill Level 7 or 9).
