Knowledge Management Specialist

Peraton is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Specialist to join our USCYBERCOM team.

Location: On-site in Fort Meade, MD.

In this role you will:

• Act as an SME for Knowledge Management and its reporting capabilities, manage content and workflow, and educate front-end users on the use of the Knowledge Management System.
• Integrate information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
• Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
• Coordinate process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of technology solutions, facilitate discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices, and coordinate the development and modification of new and existing content.
• Provide operational support to CNMF by conducting and overseeing data analysis to optimize search results and ensure proper categorization of content.
• Provide strategic direction to business groups through initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application and ensures that policies and procedures align with the USCYBERCOM mission.
• Manage content that integrates information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
• Oversee reporting to support operations and prepares analysis and recommendations related to categorization of content and optimizing search results.
• Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure that ongoing benefits are realized (e.g., improved process consistency and faster onboarding of information).
• Facilitate development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation, and prepare presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements.

Required: 

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, or related discipline. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
• Significant SharePoint experience required.
• Experience designing SharePoint front-end solutions based on business requirements.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Designer workflows, Jira, Confluence and/or InfoPath forms.
• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

• Excellent communications skills.
• Devise online collaborative solutions comprised of workflows, forms, and dashboards.
• Knowledge of USCYBERCOM/CNMF mission.
