UX/UI Manager

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:  

• Manage, mentor, and guide UX/UI Designers on the program. 
• Extensive Customer Interaction, consult with customer UX experts, provide recommendations and solutions to complex UX problems. 
• Apply user-centered design solutions that satisfy both explicit and implicit requirements from various users. 
• Facilitate product vision by concepting, wireframes, visual design and prototyping experiences for digital products. 
• Provide direction on conducting user research, such as requirements elicitation, field observations, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing. 
• Contribute to the maturity of the CSM Design System, including establishing & modifying design patterns and components.  

Basic Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12-15 years' of experience; Master's Degree and 10-13 years' of experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 18 minimum relevant years of experience 
• Experience in managing at least 5 or more direct reports 
• Experience in designing adaptive and responsive UX/UI solutions for software development projects that specialize in web and mobile-based applications 
• Experience in designing UI/UX solutions that are compliant with 508 / accessibility standards 
• Experience modernizing enterprise software systems (web and mobile-based) 
• Experience in conducting user research, such as requirements elicitation, field observations, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing 
• Experience in Design Systems, like US Web Design (USWDS), Salesforce Lightning, Apple HIG, Google Material, IBM Carbon 

• Background in Agile Methodology 
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to audiences with varied technical backgrounds 
• Excellent administrative/organizational abilities 
• U.S. Citizenship required; must have a Current, Interim Secret (or higher) clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:   

• Experience developing UI/UX solutions within an Agile environment 
• Advanced knowledge and experience using Axure, Figma 
• Ability to effectively articulate and support design decisions
