Cyber Software Engineering, Senior Advisor

Peraton is seeking a full-time Senior Java developer to join a team of 8. In addition to strong Java development skills the ideal candidate should have skills in automation including Kubernetes and experience in a CI/CD environment. Development efforts are focused on building the applications to operate in both an AWS environment and on Linux servers. Telework is possible one day per week!

• Seventeen (17) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• TS/SCI with Poly
• Strong Java development background
• JavaScript
• Experienced working in a Linux development environment using maven and git.

Desired Experience:

• Springboot
• JQuery
• Drools
• AWS
• Docker Containers
• NOSQL Databases such as Elasticsearch, Opensearch and MongoDB
