Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Project Management System Integrator (PMSI) who enjoys traveling, to join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a classified customer in Virginia.

 

The ideal candidates will possess strong communications and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments, possess a desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects, and is willing and able to aggressively learn the activities and focus of the organization.

 

Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M).

 

The Senior Project Management System Integrator (PMSI) will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • Maintain project plans for branch assigned projects.
  • Maintain an action tracking systems for action items related to projects, including actions from all milestone reviews.
  • Participate and assist with establishing and supporting technical exchanges between the various contractor and Sponsor experts.
  • Prepare, maintain, and assist with the preparation and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), System Requirements Specifications (SRSs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Requests for Change (RFCs), Test Plans, and all other project documents.
  • Review milestone documentation to ensure consistency with project requirements.
  • Attend CIR, PDR, CDR, monthly, and all other reviews, document results of these meetings, solicit and integrate comments providing recommendations.

**This role requires the candidate to perform duties on-site Mon-Fri.**

 

Travel Requirements:

**Domestic travel up to 1 week per month. Possible OCONUS travel. Travel CONUS and OCONUS, 15-25% - as needed**

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • An Active/current TS/SCI with an active Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technical, or related technical field and eight (8+) years of relevant experience; Master's degree and six (6+) years of relevant experience; PhD and three (3+) years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of five (5+) years of experience as a Systems Integrator (SI).
  • A minimum of five (5+) years of experience in at least one of the areas of technology or lines of business related to munitions.
  • Possess a strong engineering background in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or similar science or engineering education.
  • Experience with systems integration work (writing technical requirements, evaluating contractor design documentation, developing system flow charts, etc.).
  • Experience with managing multiple complex contracts, contracting tools, and multiple funding streams.
  • Experience writing and releasing Sponsor communications.
  • Desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects.
  • Self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments.
  • Willingness and ability to aggressively learn the activities and focus of the organization.
  • Willingness and ability to go on TDY domestically and OCONUS (if needed).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters' Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Technical, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience as an SI on a multi-segment technical system or project.
  • 10+ years of experience in at least one of the areas of technology and lines of business related to munitions.
  • Hands-on engineering or design experience.
  • Experience with software requirements creation and tracking.
  • Experience with program/project management.
  • Experience in use of MS Office and MS Project applications.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or a desire to learn about munitions.

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
