SkillBridge Communications Specialist Intern

As a SkillBridge Intern you will develop an understanding of how Peraton operates within the Strategic Technology and Engineering organization to conceive and develop solutions for the cultivation and growth of our current and future vendor partnerships, while also receiving valuable hands-on experience within many facets of the role, to include the following -

• Conduct analysis of each of our strategic vendor’s partnership status and assist Strategy Managers in maintaining and improving Peraton’s standing with our vendor partners.
• Assist in gathering, updating, and authoring information for the Peraton Partnership internal portal.
• Work with the Partnership, R&D, Pursuit, and Account teams to gather, update, and author Peraton and co-branded work products highlighting Peraton and Partner capabilities.
• Respond to internal and partner requests and questions.

Our team strives to maintain a standard 40-hour work week from Monday through Friday. Arrival and departure times vary, but we strive to find a schedule that works for both the employee and the customer. Remote work is permitted.

Travel is possible but very rarely required and would primarily occur in the local Washington D.C. area.

Required qualifications:

• Candidates for this internship must be Active-Duty Military at the time of application
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Networking, or similar area of concentration. An additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: Three to five years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to update and manipulate data using Microsoft Office products (especially MS Excel).
• Ability to analyze data and provide input to briefings, whitepapers, and internal repositories.
• Must be approved to support a SkillBridge internship by your unit.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience working with Cloud or PaaS technology a plus
• Experience with SharePoint or Web management and authoring a plus
• Experience interfacing with technology vendors a plus
• Proficient in working with and updating a web-based application
