Software Developer

We are hiring a Software Developer in Belcamp, MD.  This position will be a hybrid role where you will have the ability to work both on and off-site.

What you'll do:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products.
• Prioritize and allocate projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers. Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products. Makes employment decisions, such as hiring, rewarding.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a multi-team or cross-functional organization. Directs software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information.
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements. 

What you'll need:

• Education: 2 years experience with a BS, 0 years with a MS, the degree must be in a STEM field
• Certifications:  DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II required
• Active TS with SCI eligibility Security Clearance
• Experience with C, C#, C++, SQL, or Java
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GIT

Desired Certifications and Relevant Experience:

• 2 years of experience in DoD systems development
