Join Peraton's dynamic team as we seek a talented Technical Writer to contribute to our Cyber Mission business unit based in Fort Meade, Maryland. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in supporting one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.
As a Technical Writer with Peraton, you will engage in a full-time position, dedicating 1880 hours per year to this exciting opportunity. The work is conducted at a customer location, providing you with a direct connection to the mission at hand. Your primary responsibility will be to provide invaluable support in the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents essential for the success of the unit.
In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and refining technical documentation for all activities across supported organizations. Your expertise will be crucial in developing documentation for operations, including the production of implementation guides and end-user manuals for various capabilities, such as Standard Operating Procedures.
Additionally, as a Technical Writer at Peraton, you will be tasked with creating and formatting technical publications derived from diverse sources, including pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel. Your responsibilities will extend to producing field, data definitions, and data flow documentation to ensure clarity and precision in conveying critical information.
To excel in this role, you will leverage your skills in tracking and monitoring tasking while utilizing automated data systems and research tools. These abilities will be essential in meeting deadlines and contributing to the seamless flow of operations within the Cyber Mission business unit.
