REMOTE Deputy Program Manager

Peraton is seeking an experienced REMOTE Deputy Program Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

• Directs the execution of task order administration activities.
• Directs the execution of all contract administration activities.
• Serves in the Program Manager (PM) capacity when the PM is not available.
• Explains technology clearly for a non-technical audience, and to synthesize information together from a variety of sources and be knowledgeable on all task order activities and interface directly with the customer and program leadership.
• Represent the PM when unavailable and interface directly with the program leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering 
• U.S. Citizenship required,must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• 10+ years years relevant specialized experience large scale information technology and database systems both in traditional data centers and in the Cloud
• 5 years minimum in a leadership or management position
• Experience leading a team comprised of multiple development and O&M skillsets including: C++, Java, SQL, Python, Ruby, Cucumber, and Splunk
• Should have in-depth knowledge and expertise in executing the SELC or equivalent lifecycle process
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in DevOps pipeline technologies, including Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate intricate technological concepts in a clear and accessible manner for individuals without a technical background.
• Experience parsing, data mining, and processing biometric and biographic information
• Preferred Certification:
  • Agile Certified (PMI, SAFe, CSM, PSM, etc.)
