Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking a highly qualified Mission Integration Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit, based in Jessup, MD. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting one of the most extensive enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.
 
This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 1880 hours annually, with duties carried out at a customer location. As a Mission Integration Systems Engineer, you will actively contribute to fostering cross-program coordination and technical collaboration across various supported organizations. Your responsibilities will encompass mitigating integration risk and standardizing systems engineering processes.
 
In this role, you will collaborate with program teams and supported organizations, facilitating seamless communication and technical alignment. A key focus will be on reducing integration risk and implementing best practices to streamline systems engineering processes. Additionally, you will provide invaluable support in championing the adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering methodologies in alignment with the customer's project objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Experience in a broad range of systems engineering sub-disciplines (e.g., architecture, requirements, testing, analysis, etc.) in both operational and developmental environments.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate professionally and constructively with a wide range of technical contributors and customers coming from varied backgrounds and experiences.
  • Broad experience with customer organizations and goals.
  • Experience applying MBSE and digital engineering.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
