Network Administrator

The Network Administrator role will be based in the DC/Metro region and tele-work may be available.  Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary. 

• Responsible for network monitoring, optimization and administration of LAN, MAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN (WLAN).
• Support Telephone/Telecommunication/Voice Over IP (VOIP)
• Perform equipment installations and move in support of VTC operations.
• Monitor and maintain Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections along with firewall connections.
• Support Wireless communications systems domestic and international 
• Conduct root cause analysis, problem escalation, and incident management
• Evaluate and perform performance and capacity management to ensure optimal operations of the network
• Support the implementation and transition to IPv6.

• U.S. Citizen; active security clearance.
• Minimum of 5 - 11 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 0 - 9 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 0 to 6 years with PhD
• Must have experience in network administration on Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technology
• Must have experience with the installation, maintenance, and operations of Palo Alto Firewalls
• Must have experience providing Tier 3 support to included escalation support to vendors.
