Responsibilities

This position is working on-site in King George, VA with an active Secret security clearance

 

As the Software Configuration Management Analyst working in SCM task area you will be supporting to the AEGIS program. As the Software CM Analyst, you would be responsible for providing Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCB) support including importing and exporting files. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements. 

 

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Generate database reports such as meeting agendas and minutes, and tracking action items and change requests
  • Update and maintain database records and CCB Operating Procedures
  • Capture detailed technical comments while displaying to a live and web-based audience
  • Generate various status accounting reports, perform data audits, and other CM duties  
  • Generate/update briefs/presentations and attend meetings as required
  • Ensure electronic deliveries of files and documentation occur
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks of configuration data to ensure accuracy
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements

Qualifications

**US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance**

 

BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10

 

Required Experience:

  • Must have knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
  • Must have 2-4 years of CM experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers and government customers is a must
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team and fast paced environment is a must
  • Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy is required
  • Must have good organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills is a must

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience related to Aegis, weapons systems and/or Navy programs
  • Advanced Configuration Control Engineering Status System (ACCESS) experience
  • Experience with creating/manipulating Ad hoc reports and proficient in understanding Software Baselines
  • Previous experience in a classified work environment
  • Proven knowledge of formal change control processes: Class I changes, Class II changes, CCB experience/involvement

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
