DevOps Systems Engineer

What you'll do:

• Work and support the Micro-service architecture for mission planning
• Ensure accurate translation of high-level mission CONOPS into system-level requirements; develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements
• System requirements analysis, generation of requirement specifications and compliance tracking
• Support execution and refinement of the Peraton DevSecOps process as part of our customer's Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation
• Evaluate and monitor Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Government off the Shelf (GOTS) systems, applications, and services against our current architecture, RMF requirements, and application requirements
• Interact with customers on technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines

Basic Requirements:

• BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance
• Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS preferred) and Windows OS

 Desired Experiences:  

• Knowledge of transforming a legacy system to Micro-service Architecture
• DevSecOps
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana
• Knowldege with DevSecOps processes, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and with Docker and container security
• Knowledge with Ansible, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Microsoft Azure DevOps (formally TFS)
