ServiceNow Platform Administrator

Peraton is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will support the United States Secret Service (USSS) Chief Information Officer (CIO) in maintaining its information technology (IT) enterprise.  The candidate will be part of a team that supports the USSS’s protective and investigative missions. 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities: 

• Managing ServiceNow Platform Administrator functions.
• Administering and maintain ServiceNow for environments of similar. size, scope, and complexity as USSS.
• Troubleshooting ServiceNow and providing product support for the platform.
• Daily- or ad-hoc-occurring tasks inherent to overseeing an enterprise application, such as administration of user accounts, groups, roles, lookup table data, and Service Catalog items.
• Creating dashboards, reports, charts, graphs and record lists.
• Administering and maintaining all non-ServiceNow technologies which are involved in successfully operating the ServiceNow solution, including but not limited to:
  • Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Enterprise-grade databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
  • Any other technologies necessary to operate ServiceNow, such as middleware, web server software, web application server software, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years’ experience or Master's degree and 6-8 years experience or a high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years relevant experience. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Demonstrate expertise in IT system architecture, engineering, and integration; and the ability to apply this expertise across a broad portfolio of IT systems, software, and infrastructure solutions.
• Experience working in a team of personnel performing ServiceNow deployment and O&M.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ITIL Foundation or higher Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the USSS mission and organization.
